Rounds 1&2 Oulton Park 22/24 March 2008
The first race in a new car, with a new team and a new teammate, on a circuit that did not suit the Viper, was to be a challenge and a matter of damage limitation. Delays waiting for the arrival of a new sequential gearbox meant limited running prior to qualifying; Oliver’s teammate Nick Foster lined the car up in 11th place for Saturday’s race and Oliver placed the car 14th for Monday’s race with the highest placed viper in 10th place. Every lap in the car, Oliver got quicker as be adjusted to the new car, on the fast and narrow circuit where he took victory at the wheel of a Porsche 997 in the opening round of the championship in 2007....more

Oliver Bryant wins the BRDC Secretary’s Challenge
Oliver raced a Jade 2 sportscar in the 15 lap annual invitation race at the Walter Hays Trophy. He qualified on pole position in the damp ahead of a Pescarolo LMP1 car that struggled to get heat into its tyres on the cold morning....more

In the headline 6-hour race the 21-year-old GT star drove an AC Cobra alongside father Grahame and Howard Spooner in addition to a lightweight Jaguar E Type with car owner Jon Minshaw and Gerry Wainwright. Oliver qualified the Jag in 5th place in the 80-car grid and an exceptional lap at the end of the session lined the Cobra up in 3rd place behind the front row of Ford GT40s....more

Oliver Impresses on Goodwood Revival Debut
Oliver realised his long term wish to compete in the Goodwood Revival meeting with sterling performances in three cars over the first weekend in September. Promising run for Oliver on Ascari Debut
Oliver Bryant’s first race with the Damax team in their Ascari KZ1R took place on the Silverstone International circuit on the 12th of August. The British GT championship race was to be contested over 2 hours and Oliver was partnered by Phil Keen.
