Era Motorsport Podium Bid Cut Short at Inaugural 12H Nürburgring

Saturday 11th July 2026

After several productive days of testing, Dwight Merriman, Ryan Dalziel, Oliver Bryant, and Jake Hill qualified the No. 81 Ferrari seventh overall and fifth in the GT3 Pro-Am class ahead of Saturday's opening six-hour segment.

The team quickly worked its way through the Pro-Am field on Saturday, finishing the red-flag-shortened opening day second in class and well positioned to fight for another podium when racing resumed on Sunday.

Unfortunately, midway through Sunday's final six hours, the No. 81 Ferrari was collected by a car from another class, damaging the suspension and forcing the team into the garage for repairs.

Despite an excellent effort by the Era Motorsport crew to return the car to the race, the time lost ultimately left the team 14th overall in GT3 and fifth in the GT3 Pro-Am class at the chequered flag.

While the result did not reflect the pace shown throughout the weekend, the team gained valuable experience with the Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo and now turns its attention to the season-ending Michelin 24H Barcelona on 18–20 September.
