4 x 2.0L Cup Champion Olly Bryant returns to 2.0L Cup for selected round alongside Historika customer Frank Laudenklos

Olly joined novice racer Frank in his recently Historika-prepared 1965 Porsche 911 at Barcelona for the opening round of the 2026 championship. Olly will be working with Frank at the four rounds that he’s able to attend this season.

Barcelona was a strong start for the duo. Testing went well and saw a large improvement in Frank’s lap times. In qualifying Olly set the second fastest overall time and on combined times the pair lined up 14th for the race. Frank settled in to consistent pace in the early laps of the race and as the cars owner he had to do more than 50% of the race distance.

The unfortunate timing of a safety car whilst handing the car over to Olly resulted in a red light at pit exit, which cost them a lap. Olly managed to unlap himself and they finished third in class at the end of the 90-minute encounter. The next race is at Spa Francorchamps in May.
