| Twenty year-old racing driver, Oliver Bryant has been made a "rising star" by the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) |
The scheme recognises drivers of notable talent and they monitor their progress with full membership of the Club as a future goal. "I am delighted for my efforts to have been recognised by the BRDC, it is an honour to become a junior member of such an importnant club in british motorsport", commented Bryant.
This great news comes half way through a busy season for the Marlow based driver who is competing in the British GT championship and the FIA GT3 European Championship in a Morgan and Porsche respectively. |
Rising Star
His effort with Team Aero in 2005 to secure 4 podiums including 2 wins for the smallest team in the series, which had not won in the previous 3 seasons, was noticed by the members of the board and they invited him to attend an interview.
